Day 1 - Sunday 01/10/2006

After an emotional breakfast at the Tunnel, Nick and Nick finally hit the road at exactly 10:00 on Sunday morning the 1st of October.
Gales, horizontal rain, and seasickness couldn't prevent them from going to the Pub as soon as they had checked in to their hotel in Paris.

Hi guys, sounds incredible so far - trouble at the beginning might mean an easy ride from here on! Good thing you had two medical kits and there you were thinking it'd be too much. Hope you're enjoying yourselves, the trials and tribulations - holding thumbs that all goes well. The article in the Stroud News & Journal was good, everyone at work's very impressed. Looking forward to the next blog instalment. Good luck! xxx

At last it seems like yu are heading into the nicer weather. Your surroundings should also become more interesting. Enjoy it and remember when things get tough the reason you are both doing this. You have more support here than you will ever imagine.
