Day 15 - Sunday 15/10/2006

Thought for the day.
As I was sitting on a rock next to the great Pyramid and I thought of Professor Tony Oakhill. The medical profession I am sure, has lost a great man. We have lost a friend. We will miss you Tony, but we will never forget you.

All change. It seems the only way at moment to go to Luxor is via Helgado on red sea coast and cut back in. Bloody nuisance, but when advice comes, listen and react.
More info tomorrow.

Hi dad, im so proud of you, i can't believe how far you've gone already. I had a fab weekend, worked my ass off at the bar and went dancing with ant and lizzie and bar staff, we got into all the clubs free coz i knew the bouncers and we also got into the vip members club in one of them, like father like daughter hay, first class all the way- what a snob :-)
Im missing you loads, college is hard. I hope to hear from you soon. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi and very well done to the 2 Nicks. It's been a remarkable feat so far and aren't you over half way already within 16 days? Quite amazing.
Robyn: Thanks for your comments and apologies if I caused any offence. We were not planning on writing an article about you and the details of your experience, we just wanted to acknowledge on our site and within our organisation, the efforts of whomever you worked with through your rehab.
We've highlighted the great effort put in by your father and would like to highlight and commend the person/people on our team who inspired him to make this ride.
Keep up the brilliant work Nick(s) - Cape Town BEFORE Christmas it seems.
