Day 54 - Thursday 23/11/2206
Latest from Malawi.
Only 200 miles today. Not feeling too bad - better than last night - now we have discovered heaven!!! Staying at Mayoka Beach Lodge in Nkata. I am staying in a tree house made of wood and bamboo. It's run by two Brits and it is stunning. Don't worry TC, we are ahead of schedule now and will probably make Zambia tomorrow.
At 4.30 today we are gojng out on the lake in a dugout to feed fish and watch eagles. It's a great photo opportunity.
The boys have had a wonderful day today and have decided to stay another day in Malawi. Have met bikers travelling up from Cape Town and are assured that they are well ahead of schedule. No TV, no landlines, hardly any internet access - perfect.

CALLING MALAWI!!!! ITS ALL VERY WELL FINDING PARADISE YOU HAVE A JOURNEY TO COMPLETE!!!!! ARE YOU IN ZAMBIA YET OR ARE YOU STILL LORDING IT ON THE BANKS OF LAKE MALAWI IN YOUR TREE HOUSES? GET A GRIP BOYS AND START CONCENTRATING LIKE MAC IN BAK SAID! YOU SEEM TO BE HAVING FAR TO MUCH FUN ON THIS TRIP.. WE THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE HARD!

As far as I can see this is the beginning of the end. They have lost focus. I imagine they are already wondering what they would look like with pony tails. Wondering where they stored those cheesecloth and tie dye t shirts from a previous life / era. Planning their next trip to end up naked on a beach in Goa to raise funds for the Little Sisters Of Lesser Vitue (Thailand Chapter).
It's all going T*T's Up - just as the Juke and Mojo predicted.
Desperately trying to stay positive but they are not making it easy.
