Bloody hell, guys! Well done. Having a beer in the Mount Nelson Hotel in Capetown after so many miles in the saddle, must be the best feeling in the world.
Looking forward to having a beer in The Tunnel when you're back here.
Congratulations, having seen you over the summer and kept tabs on you i never doubted you. time for some well earned rest and a story to tell forever. look forward to bat on ball very soon.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I have really enjoyed reading the blogs when I got in from school every day and showing my friends what you were doing and where you were. Sometimes they have been so funny that we cant stop laughing and other times we worried a bit because we didnt hear from you for a few days. Mum told me you would both be OK! and she was right! I hope the bumped elbows and knocks have healed Nick G. Both mum, me,(Holly) Wills and Ant cant wait for you to come home next week. Robyn is really, really excited about coming to see you in a few days time. Oh by the way Nick mum got the tap fixed in the kitchen at last, Hee, Hee, Hee Im in trouble now! See you next week, byzzee bye, from Holly Glassbrook
Mak in the Bak says Despite losing money on the sweepstake on how far he would get (I was looking good when he caused a bigger pile up on the French motorways than a bunch of striking French farmers) and despite the lack of conclusive photographic evidence I would like to congratulate my old mate Nick the Nose on his achievement. I would also like to offer congratulations to the man Clarkie for putting up with his travelling companion for the last two months. That must have been more gruelling than the journey! Well done boys.
Many congratulations to you both, you are both 'superstars'. On behalf of CLIC Sargent, and all the families that will benefit from your incredible journey, a MASSIVE thank you, and a very relaxing, and peaceful Christmas to you and your families. June
Top congratulations gents. well done! I'm leaving Nairobi tomorrow with virtually new bike but I don't suppose I'll catch up with you. I'll look forward to exchanging stories back in the UK. We have some excellent biking roads across your northern border in Civilisation! Enjoy your now endless supply of beer! :-)
